Unpaid Carers Support

The Unpaid Carers service was transferred to Citizens Advice Southampton in April 2023. We support all adults in Southampton who are caring for another adult – friend, neighbour, relative or loved one. Our aim is to support people caring for another adult to understand their rights and options, to have a voice, and to connect with their peers. 

We help carers to access services, information, and education in relation to their caring role, and provide opportunities for socialising and developing friendships. We do this through a variety of events and workshops, as well as offering one to one support through our carer’s assessment service.
